Genius adds Deceuninck 2500 and 2800 to portfolio

Following the success of their Deceuninck Slider 24 patio door, fast-growing Norwich-based fabricator Genius PVC Trade Frames is adding Deceuninck’s 2500 chamfered and 2800 sculptured systems to its product portfolio.

This latest expansion introduces stormproof casement windows, tilt and turn windows, french doors, and entrance doors to Genius’s Deceuninck range, with plans to launch the Deceuninck flush sash in 2025.

Peter Dyson, co-founder of Genius, explains the decision: “Since launching Genius, we’ve focused on providing products that meet the diverse needs of our customers, from retail installers to commercial contractors and trade counters. The success of our Slider 24 offering demonstrated a clear demand for Deceuninck products across these sectors, making this expansion a logical next step in our commitment to serving the market.”

Both the 2500 and 2800 systems offer easy installation, superb energy efficiency, and robust, PAS24-accredited security. To ensure superior performance and longevity, Genius has equipped the range with premium hardware including the Apex quad lock from Total Hardware, Glazpart link vents, egress easy clean hinges as standard, with the option to upgrade to heavy duty Nico Atlas hinges. A key advantage is Deceuninck’s industry-leading colour offering, allowing Genius to supply foiled profiles on impressively quick lead times.

To support this expansion and meet their goal of manufacturing 2,500 frames per week, Genius has invested an additional £2 million in new machinery. This includes a state-of-the-art Schirmer machining centre and an 8-headed Rotox welder, significantly scaling up production capacity. The company has also expanded its factory to accommodate the new product lines.

These additions complement Genius’s existing lineup of Kömmerling C70 and O70 casement windows, significantly expanding the range of high-quality PVC-U products available from a single, trusted supplier.

“We’re maintaining our commitment to a 5-day lead time on both Deceuninck and Kömmerling products,” Peter adds. “This expansion not only broadens our product range but also allows us to cater to a wider customer base.”

Founded in 2019 by industry veterans Peter Dyson, David Eagle and Martyn Buckley, Genius has quickly made a name for itself by leveraging decades of fenestration expertise to meet the needs of a diverse customer base. This latest expansion underscores the company’s commitment to growth and meeting varied requirements in an ever-evolving market.
