Shelforce headquarters undergoes significant upgrade

PVC-U window, door and fire door manufacturer and supplier Shelforce has received a significant upgrade to its headquarters, courtesy of energy and regeneration specialists Equans.

The refurbishment at Shelforce’s base in Erdington, Birmingham includes new signage, aluminium doors in the factory, and a revamp of the office, lobby area, and restrooms, and comes off the back of Shelforce’s prestigious Kings Awards for Enterprise in Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility) win last year.

Howard Trotter, Business Manager at Shelforce, commented: “We’re thrilled with the fresh, modern look Equans has given our facility. The new signage really makes us stand out, and the revamped office space has significantly improved our working environment.

“Equans has done an outstanding job, and we can’t thank them enough for their support. This gesture underscores the valued partnership and great long-term relationship we’ve built with Equans over the years.”

John O’Leary, Head of Operations at Equans, commented on the collaboration: “We have worked with Shelforce for over 12 years now, and they have huge experience when it comes to delivering local authority building projects. The quality of products they supply are of the highest spec.

“They offer a hands-on, fully comprehensive approach and provide in-depth knowledge of the options available to satisfy strict and unique planning requirements.

“To win the Kings Awards for Enterprise was a wonderful achievement, and their approach and commitment to inclusion, diversity, and delivering real change are values that line up with our own. Shelforce always go above and beyond for us on our projects, so we wanted to do the same for them and it was a pleasure to help them with the refurbishment.”

The two companies have worked closely together on numerous projects with Shelforce supplying PVC-U windows and doors that help bring properties up to energy efficiency requirements and provide warmer homes for residents.

This collaboration has been instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of building projects in Birmingham, particularly in meeting energy efficiency requirements.
