Glass Express Midlands has been certified by AGC to process and supply its Lacobel T and Matelac T painted glass ranges.
According to a company statement, AGC recommended that Matelac T and Lacobel T products are processed by an AGC Certified Processor, which will ensure the processed glass is of “superior quality” and “eliminate any risks” for the end customer.
Fraser Caithness, Glass Express Midlands’ sales director, said: “We supply a lot of Lacobel T and Matelac T into commercial projects. We cut polish and toughen these ranges to go into internal areas such as entrances, hallways and atriums, as well as external applications such as spandrel panels.
“Since we are striving to improve the level of professionalism in the glass industry – we have Kitemarks for toughening and insulated glass units, and we have our processes inspected twice a year – achieving this accreditation from AGC is a valuable feather in our cap.
