Window manufacturer WSC appoints new managing director

West-Lothian-based window and door manufacturer Window Supply Company (WSC) has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Barry Duncan as managing director. The strategic move will, according to WSC, “help shape the next chapter in the company’s success and transition the business into the next phase of growth.”

Established in March 2019, WSC has very quickly grown to become the largest manufacturer of PVC-U windows and doors for trade in Scotland. The firm’s head office and manufacturing operations are based in Whitburn, West Lothian, serving trade counters across Scotland and the north of England.

A qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience as a finance and operational business leader in the FM, housing naintenance and construction sector. Barry has extensive experience in managing organisations and creating high-performing, empowered teams. During this time, he has held several managing director and board-level positions, including managing director (Scotland) of Mears Group plc, finance director at Mears Scotland LLP, managing director of Curtis Moore (Cladding Systems) Ltd and finance & operations director at Benglass Ltd.
