Leaders of Glazpart have appointed Andy Denness to the finance director role. Andy is to take responsibility for the senior financial management of the Glazpart Group.
A qualified chartered accountant, Andy has more than 25 years of post-qualification experience in industries including logistics, food production equipment and communications. His experience stretches from management accountancy to financial controller, as well as finance directorships for SMEs and blue-chip companies.
“I am delighted to be part of Glazpart’s senior management team during this time of strong growth,” said Andy. “There is great potential ahead.”
Dean Bradley, sales director for Glazpart, added: “I have no doubt that Andy, with his acumen and strategic planning skills will be a great asset to the Glazpart Group management team. Going forward he will be instrumental to our continued success.”
The news follows the recent appointment of Melanie Hickman as area sales manager for fenestration in the south of England, and the promotion of Fay Bibi to the newly created role of sales manager – custom and speciality products. Melanie has nearly a decade of sales and account management experience, including four years in the construction products distribution sector. Fay has worked in the plastics manufacturing industry for more than 30 years, and has built extensive experience and knowledge in specialist custom and bespoke mouldings.
Fay is on the judging panel for GGP‘s Installer Awards, which are to be presented next March. The Installer Awards exist to showcase wow-factor design, exceptional workmanship and creative innovation.
The annual awards event offers businesses the opportunity to celebrate talent, promote excellence and inspire others within the fenestration and wider industry. “It is truly humbling to have been asked to judge the GGP Installer Awards and I am naturally pleased to share my experience and expertise of the industry in evaluating the entries,” said Fay.
