Two former leaders of Everest, Simon Jarman and Roy Frost, are to join panels at this year’s Glazing Summit. The event is due to place this week Thursday (12 October) at Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre, Birmingham.
Simon is to join the ‘Fresh Hope on the Skills Crisis’ discussion panel. He has 25 years of experience in the glazing industry, including as both CEO and finance director of Everest, and as a non-executive director at the Glass and Glazing Federation. He is the founder of Clever Bean Accounting, and now helps glazing companies to optimise their financial operations and make informed decisions to drive long-term success.
Roy held several senior posts at Everest, including as manufacturing director, before going on to become CEO of Deceuninck. He then led an acquisition strategy that included GJB and Listers Trade Frames. He is due to share his industry experience in the ‘Disrupting Sales and Marketing’ discussion panel, which is set to be hosted by the Glazing Summit’s founder, Andrew Scott.
“The Glazing Summit is all about learning from the experts, and both Simon and Roy fall into that category,” said Andrew. “We have assembled a high-calibre line up of big-name speakers. It’s an event that industry leaders can’t afford to miss.”
More than 400 fabricators, installers and suppliers are set to attend this year’s Glazing Summit for a day of debate and discussion on the biggest issues currently facing the industry. A representative of the Glazing Summit said: “There are still tickets available for both the Glazing Summit conference and the evening’s Gala Dinner, so don’t miss your opportunity to secure your place for a day that will expand your industry knowledge, foster valuable connections and leave you inspired.” To book, visit this link.
