Judges of the Plastics Industry Awards 2023 have shortlisted Glazpart’s product – the Link Vent 4000 – to win their New Product of the Year award. Representatives of the glazing component manufacturer Glazpart have reported being delighted by the news.
“All at Glazpart are thrilled with the news of this nomination, which recognises and rewards the best of the entire plastics industry,” said Dean Bradley, Glazpart’s sales director. “Looking at the finalists, it’s clear there is some serious competition, so to be a finalist is an incredible achievement in its own right.”
Winners of the Plastics Industry Awards are due to be announced on Friday 17 November 2023 at the London InterContinental Park Lane hotel. The full list of finalists is available to view on the Plastics Industry Awards website.
Dean added: “We are very excited at being a finalist and look forward to representing not only Glazpart but also the glazing sector at this prestigious multi-sector event.”
The Link Vent 4000 was launched in June 2022, in time for the changes to the Building Regulations (Approved Document F – means of ventilation). The products is marketed as a simple and effective solution for compliance for rooms and windows of all sizes, as the required background ventilation is produced by Link vents in replacement windows and doors. “Glazpart’s Link Vent 4000 enables the fenestration market to easily comply with the new regulations without having to compromise on the visual appearance of windows and doors, and potential resistance from homeowners,” the business’ representative explained.
The Link Vent has a smart design, flexibility and vast range of colours and finishes. The product has reportedly been well received across the supply chain and by homeowners.
