The TradeMark team is celebrating 30 years in business this year: the team’s pearl anniversary. The Reading-based home improvement business is led by founder and managing director Mark Ashwell, and his wife, Sue.
In the 30 years since April 1993, the TradeMark team has built up a reputation thanks to the business’ mantra of ‘Doing things different but better’ and their unwavering commitment to putting the customer first, they have reported. Mark was invited to appear on the BBC’s Rogue Traders TV show, to champion additional protection for customers in the UK and call for a clamp down on invasive selling techniques across the sector.
This prime-time promotion followed Mark’s local campaigning, a representative of TradeMark has said, where he worked closely to guide and advise regional trading standards services. The TV appearance also helped position TradeMark as the Thames Valley’s leading home improvement company, according to the firm’s agent.
In 2013, TradeMark joined the Conservatory Outlet network, which leaders say has helped spur the business to greater heights. Over the past five years, the company is reported to have doubled in size.
“Reaching 30 years of business is a fantastic achievement,” said Mark Ashwell. “For over three decades now, we’ve served the people of the Thames Valley – not the other way round.
“We’re always here to provide friendly, honest and impartial advice. It’s one of the main reasons we’ve succeeded: building that trust with our customer base and delivering fantastic installations.
“Here’s to the next 30 years!”
Greg Kane, Conservatory Outlet’s CEO, added: “I’d like to wish Mark, Sue and the team at TradeMark my warmest congratulations for achieving 30 years of success.
“TradeMark’s reputation for providing a personable service and an excellent quality of work is second-to-none, and we’re honoured to have them as part of our network of premium retailers.
“We look forward to working with TradeMark for another 30 years and helping them grow further.” For further information about the business, visit trademarkwindows.co.uk.
