Leaders of the composite door brand ODL Europe reported a successful Fit Show after securing a significant pipeline of enquiries at last week’s trade exhibition. The three-day event for businesses within the glazing industry was held at the NEC, Birmingham, from 23 to 25 May.
“Our door slab range and door prep service received a lot of attention throughout the show, with visitors easily able to see the value they offer,” said Suzanne Nicholl, ODL Europe’s head of sales and customer services. “We have a large bank of high-quality leads to follow up, and we’re looking forward to discussing the opportunities our products offer to new customers.”
The ODL Europe team was joined by Townes Parsley, ODL’s executive vice president, and representatives of Capstone. “It was great to have the support of Townes and the Capstone engineering team,” Suzanne added.
One of the highlights of ODL Europe’s stand was the award-winning Guardsman FD30 fire door, the ODL team reported. The door is marketed as setting ‘a new benchmark for the fire door market’ due to its consistent and proven fire resistance.
The Capstone composite door slab range received interest too. Suzanne added: “The Capstone range includes contemporary, heritage, classic and specialist door collections, many of which are exclusive to ODL Europe, which was very attractive to visitors.
“Our in-house door prepping facility means that no matter what the level of your set up, we can give you what you need. It’s an offer that’s grown rapidly in recent years. Judging by the interest at Fit, it’s set to get even busier!
“The Fit Show is the UK’s leading trade exhibition and a highlight of the industry calendar. Once again, the quality of the footfall was strong and the buzz of the show, especially on the Wednesday, was palpable. It was great to come away with a strong pipeline of new business enquiries in addition to networking with customers and industry friends. We look forward to Fit Show 2025!”
