The Whitesales team has big plans for its first ever Fit Show, its representatives have reported, having been a ‘big name’ in the rooflights and daylighting market for more than 30 years. Sioned Yates, Whitesales’ marketing director, said that the Fit Show is to be the launch platform for a major campaign that invites fabricators to choose Whitesales as their rooflight partner.
“Our whole proposition at Fit is geared around demonstrating to fabricators exactly how we can help them make more money on rooflights and roof lanterns,” explained Sioned. “Rooflights and lanterns are a fast-growing sector of the market, with buyers demonstrating an increasing willingness to spend more on ever-larger sizes and add-on features to achieve the real wow factor. It’s a great opportunity for fabricators to bring in additional, high-margin business – but only if they choose the right supply partner.
“At Whitesales, our proposition goes way beyond just offering good value. It’s about having a broad range of quality, contemporary-looking products in both glass and polycarbonate which appeal to installers because they are quick and easy to fit, and it’s also about having a proven track record of legendary customer service.
“We make it easy to buy from us with large volumes of standard sizes available from stock – some even for delivery next day. Customers can configure their own rooflights online using Rufus, our digital design and specification tool, and they can choose deliveries direct to site.
“We believe in old-fashioned values when it comes to customer service, all underpinned by the latest high-tech efficiencies in logistics, stockholding and communication. We have a highly trained team available on the phone or online to advise on everything from fitting rain sensors and electric openers to the rules around Part F and Part L, and offering reassurance that we will live up to our promises when it comes to on-time, in-full deliveries.
“Fabricators who come to talk to our team at Fit will see some crucial differences between Whitesales and the rooflight suppliers they might already be dealing with. The biggest one is that rooflights are our core business, which doesn’t just mean we’re experts in these products but crucially that we won’t compete with our customers on windows and doors. We also don’t supply the retail market direct, so we pass on all the retail enquiries generated via our website to our customers.”
The Whitesales stand at Fit is to feature a mix of products, including a new, ‘easy-to-fit’ Whitesales lantern; the stylish, contemporary ‘em.glaze’ flat glass roof light and a mix of polycarbonate domes and sky tubes. Fabricators and installers are to be invited to sample the Whitesales service and – in a nod to what they can expect once they partner with Whitesales – have ‘time and space to relax’.
