Natalie Little has stepped up to the role of president of the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF) for a two-year term. Her tenure begins on 1 January 2023. Natalie is set to lead the GGF and its subsidiaries in what is expected to be a seminal period in the GGF’s development and progression.
Whilst continuing her role as commercial director of Truhouse, her family’s home improvement company based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Natalie will be the first woman to serve the GGF as president. Natalie manages corporate oversight together with supplier and contract management for Truhouse, having previously enjoyed 13 years in commercial banking.
Natalie’s commitment to the GGF has been significant since joining the organisation, including chairing the Window and Door Group. Natalie is known to be outspoken and is passionate about customer service and improving the image of the industry.
She also wants to oversee “an improvement in the transparency, communication and the image of the GGF”. Watch our editor’s interview with her here.
When asked what characteristics she will bring to the presidency, Natalie replied: “I am passionate about our industry and intend to invest the skills and insights that I have learned and put to work every day in my company into the GGF during my period as president. I am known to be straightforward, uncomfortably honest, and have a tenacity to get things done. I promise that my presidency will be anything other than a mere title.”
Anda Gregory, group chief development officer for the GGF, has worked closely with Natalie during her period as vice president. She said: “Natalie brings extraordinary insight. Her direct and pragmatic approach to everything is refreshing. I know that she will be a huge asset towards the team, and will achieve some exciting projects that we are set to deliver during the next two years.”
John Agnew, the GGF’s group managing director, agreed, adding: “Support for the management team by the board of directors has been excellent and is crucial for us to deliver a most ambitious programme for our members and the industry. Natalie is already heavily involved and her leadership as president will ensure seamless continuity whilst bringing intuitive leadership and professional skills and experience to the programme.”
