Door-designer, which can be accessed on the Distinction Doors’ website or at door-designer.co.uk is said to be a ‘perfect demonstration of how to draw homeowners into a brand and its products’.
Bethaney Larkman, Distinction’s marketing manager, said: “A new entrance door is a big decision for any homeowner. With door-designer they can choose every element of their new door before submitting a request for a quote. We also offer a bespoke version of the platform with even more functionality that our customers can use on their own websites and in their own sales processes.”
Door-designer works across desktops, tablets and mobiles and allows homeowners to design their own door, from the design and colour to the glazing panel, glass and hardware. They can even upload a photo of the front of their home and see how the door will really look. Having chosen their door, homeowners can then complete a form so their nearest Distinction Doors’ supplier can contact them to discuss it further and provide a quote.
Bethaney commented: “The bespoke version of door-designer takes everything a stage further because it gives our customers complete flexibility. It can be embedded on a customer’s website, accessed via a unique company URL or used during a sales presentation. They can change the door designs featured to the ones they stock. They can change the names if they’re using their own brand names. The colour scheme can be changed to suit their own brand identity. They can even add a pricing element if they want to give homeowners an idea of cost. Finally, there is a reporting function in the CMS which allows the customer to download their sales leads.”
